The release of this new app finally gives Windows Phone users the same functionality as their colleagues on Android and iOS, who have been able to edit Office files directly through their Dropbox app since last November. You'll also be able to access both your personal and work accounts at the same time. The Dropbox app has been tailored for Windows so you can pin any folder to your Start screen, giving you quick and easy access to your favourite files without clicking or tapping through multiple folders. The app will offer all the regular Dropbox features such as automatically backing up your photos to Dropbox and being able to mark files as favourites so you can get them even when you don't have an internet connection. After countless clones and fake apps have filled the Windows Store trying to take its place, an official app is, at last, available to download on phones running Windows Phone 8.0 or higher and Windows devices running Windows 8.1 or Windows RT. Dropbox has finally arrived on Windows phones and tablets.
